Updated 22 October 2026. Starfront Ventures LLC.

Starfront Ventures LLC is responsible for what Beach Bliss holds about you. This says what that is, why we hold it, who sees it, and how long it lasts.

What we hold

An account identifier, made the first time you open the app, because an order has to belong to someone. That happens even if you never sign in. A name, if you give one, so a runner knows who to look for. A phone number, if you give one, so a bar or a runner can reach you about an order in progress. Your position while you are sharing it. A photo of your spot, if you take one. What you ordered, from which bar, and when. Whatever you write in a chat, a landmark note or a rating. A notification token for this device. The language you read in.

Your position

Your position is what makes the product work, and it is also the most personal thing here, so it is kept narrow. It is read only while the app is open and you are sharing a spot. It is sent while an order is on its way, so the runner walking towards you can see where you moved to. It stops when the order ends. The last spot sent stays on that order as part of the bar's record of the sale. With no order in progress, nobody is shown where you are.

The photo of your spot

A photo of your spot goes to the bar once it accepts your order, and to the runner who takes it on. The location and other details your phone stores in the file are removed first. It is attached to that order and to nothing else, and it is deleted when the order ends. Point it at your parasol rather than at the people under it.

Why we hold it

To get an order from a bar to the place you are sitting, to tell you when it moves, to let you and the bar talk about it, and to show you your own history. Not to build a profile of you, and not to sell to anyone.

Who sees what

A bar sees the items and your note on the order sent to it. Your spot, your name and your phone number reach it only once it has accepted, and it is shown nothing about what you ordered from any other bar. A runner sees where to collect and where to walk. Your name and phone number reach them at pickup and not before. Neither one is shown your email address. A message you send in an order's chat shows the name on your profile to whoever it reaches.

The companies we use

Three, and no others. Firebase, from Google, holds sign-in and delivers notifications. Sentry receives crash reports on servers in the European Union, and those reports say what went wrong rather than who you are. Map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, which sees that a map was drawn. Each of them works on our instructions and holds nothing for its own purposes.

How long it lasts

Once the order ends, your position is no longer read, and only the last spot sent stays on it. An order stays as the bar's record of a sale, which the bar is entitled to keep. Chat stays with the order it belongs to. Everything else stays until you delete your account.

Deleting it

Profile, then Delete account, removes your account and everything attached to it, straight away and for good. What stays is what belongs to somebody else. An order is the bar's record of what it sold, and after deletion nothing on it names you. Ratings stay, because a rating never carried your name. If you would rather ask us than tap it, write to privacy@starfrontventures.com.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Where you live may give you more than that, such as the right to object, to restrict, or to receive a copy, and we honour those wherever they apply. Write to privacy@starfrontventures.com and we will answer.

Children

Beach Bliss is not for children, and you should not use it if you are under 16. Nothing alcoholic changes hands without an ID check at the towel, whatever an account says.

Changes and contact

When this changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Anything you want to ask about it goes to privacy@starfrontventures.com.
